This winery, located in Alfaro in the Mediterranean-influenced eastern Rioja, looks out on one of the foothills of the Iberian mountain system, the cool, wild Yerga range.

Our La Montesa vineyard, located on a hillside made up of sediments from the hilltop, clay, chalk and even volcanic stones is the home of garnacha par excellence that is cultivated using the traditional methods of the area.

Álvaro Palacios works in the family’s vineyard to offer wines with a strong sense of place and molded by a renewed passion.
